Yahoo! News – Redskins May Predict Presidential Winner

Too weird… I hope the record still stands.

Google Desktop Search

I installed the Google Desktop Search program the other day and I’m really impressed. It’s really slick and much faster at finding things on my computer than the Windows search tool (plus I like all my apps web-based).

But, I came to a weird realization about the tool. It’s index of my 150 Gigs worth of storage on my home computer is about the same size as the second hard-drive I bought for my computer in college… 340 Mb!

Crazy to think that I’d have plenty of room with 340 Mb 10 years ago, but now that’s the size of my personal search index.

Best Web App Ever!

WNBC has the best traffic app I’ve seen yet. It’s great! It will only show you traffic on the route you want, it will alert you when things are bad, and saves all the information. Perfect for someone who commutes 2 hours a day in a car!

(Looks like there’s another one at NJ DOT, but you can’t customize that one as much)
