You’d think I’d be writing about the difference 11 seconds makes in messing up the Giants’s great comeback against the Cowboys last night. But I’m not (I’m too tired).
I’m talking about the 3 seconds ahead of a tree falling in the middle of the road in Armonk. As I passed it, I heard a cracking sound. Then a Town Car passed it and managed to escape it as a massive tree (about 2 feet in diameter) came crashing down and shattered on the road. And all this even before Hurricane Isabel comes into the area.
Let’s just hope I’m as lucky with the Powerball tickets I bought this morning…
