Yo cocino con George!
January 26, 2003Just in case anyone from AT&T is reading this…
January 21, 2003Yes, I am no longer with you. No, I don’t want to switch back unless you give my $50 in free long distance very month like Sprint does. Oh, and my answer hasn’t changed in the last 4 calls you made to me in the past 4 days, so no need to call for a fifth day in a row.
Then again, better try again tomorrow… Now, where did I put that whistle?
The worst torture: Cable Channel Shuffling
January 16, 2003Can someone please tell me why the cable company finds it necessary to shuffle channels every few years? And they wait until you REALLY know where all the channels are. It’s been a few years since they changed up on me, and I could even find those 4th-tier channels that you only flip too when someone tells you, “Look at the size of those *** on Telemundo!”
I’m going to have to make flash cards to remember the new line up.
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
January 11, 2003Finally broke down and went to go see the new LOTR, and I must say I was impressed. It really kept my interest better than the first one, especially since fantasy has never been my favorite genre. It had a faster and more consistent pace than the first one, and more action overall. I must say I’m looking forward to the final one now.
Also, I was super impressed with Golam. For a CG (computer generated) character, he was very fluid and his movement and mannerisms were near perfect. And he had absolutely no Jar Jar like qualities, which is always a good thing.
First Post!
January 9, 2003Well folks, maybe this will be the rebirth of fresh content on this site, after a long hiatus. Only time will tell. Bear with me as I make some changes, and give me suggestions for what you want to see here.
